SBITC-NLEX Candaba Pass Starts on November 2
(GMT +0800)

Dear SBITC valued clients,

We’re pleased to inform you that the SBITC weighbridge is now accredited by the NLEX Corporation.

Trucks within the weight limit will be granted a Candaba Pass that will permit them to traverse the Candaba Viaduct. Implementation will start on 2 November 2022 (Wednesday) at 0800H and will be available 24/7.

Kindly see below guidelines to secure the pass.

I. Step-by-Step Process to Secure SBITC-NLEX Candaba Pass

Step 1 – Settle terminal charges. Upon payment of arrastre and other terminal charges to secure SBITC gate pass, kindly include the payment for the Truck Scale / Weighing (Php112) and EIR Weigh Ticket Reprinting (Php300). This will serve as an official request for import weighing. Payment for import weighing will be available during official billing hours only.

Step 2 – Prepare pertinent documents. Provide your truck driver with the printed SBITC Gate Pass and Official Receipt (OR) that indicate settled Truck Scale / Weighing and EIR Weigh Ticket Reprinting. This must be presented at West Gate (Exit Gate) for execution of import weighing. No OR, no import weighing.

Step 3 – Gate in for import delivery. Truck driver will proceed with the normal procedure for import delivery at East Gate (Entry Point).

Step 4 – Properly queue for import weighing. At West Gate, truck driver will get in line for trucks paid for weighing. Look for the “Truck Scale / Weighing” sign and prepare the OR.

Step 5 – Drive onto the weighbridge at West Gate. Upon instruction from SBITC personnel / security, truck driver will proceed with import weighing on the weighbridge. SBITC personnel will give EIR Weigh Ticket to the driver and another copy to NLEX.

Step 6 – Claim the Candaba Pass. Claim the color-coded SBITC-NLEX Candaba Pass from the NLEX personnel stationed at SBITC West Gate. A green pass will grant trucks within the weight limit to pass through the Candaba Viaduct.
